This is obviously not a real word, but its what I call things when I am at the of my wits when attempting to describe something that is nearly unfathomable to me.
It has within it the need to be imaginary and incalculable because what I seek to express with the association is in fact this nature. Somehow and somewhy facts, occurrences and levels of quality can only be described in my mind as ‘matternizing’.
It conjures up the reference from the film “watchmen” where Dr. Manhattan says: ‘it’s like turning air into gold’ for me.
The word ‘miracle’ is far too religious to me and also not appropriate because most of the things I attribute this word to are man-made, or achieved by man.
Furthermore – my experience with hallucinogens years ago has given me a view on supposed ‘matter’ as only being ‘supposed’. What we know of matter is that it consists of atoms etc. Generally associated with a hard substance like rock, yet even rock seemed to resonate as an ‘energy’ while under the effects of mushrooms that I tried.
This lead me to believe in a more energetic and vibrational reality where everything is connected to emotion and spiritualty along with perception of reality that must somehow be collective collaboration.
In my mind its so astounding that some things do exist and some things DO occur, sometimes even better than imagined. So to me there somehow is no other term that can describe these happenings.
The word goes beyond rules set in stone to achieve exactly that trait – of being undefinable in part. Capable of being grasped by my mind to an extent of about 75% and the rest being spiritual or energetic in nature – something I FEEL more than think.
I speak English, German and a bit of Afrikaans – so my vocabulary is limited to what I have studied. Loving to play with imagination there had to be something that expressed how impossible things were while at the same time being real, yet having the taint of being ‘beyond belief’. Its like watching the ani-matrix episode where the runner breaks the matrix for a short period of time.
Now I use this word with humour because it doesn’t exist simply to pay tribute to such figments in the world – it’s so good that it doesn’t exist – it’s simply unfathomable.
On top of all of this I attribute this supposed ‘term’ with the quality of making something ‘real’ – somehow for reasons unknown this turns things from being unreal into being real for me.
It establishes a greater connection.
By no means am I appealing to you to adopt this word into your vocabulary, but it is a funny conundrum to play with. All I want you to know is that I am quirky and made up this ‘word’ and like to play with things that I find to be utterly ‘matternizing’. =)
