There is so much beauty in the process of things fading. As time goes by I find myself shedding older perceptions, while reuniting with what was at the same time. A form of growth that makes me feel the change deep within.
Pride and maturity yield in lesser quantities, yet thick like honey.
There is a feeling of tapping into a space of the divine, often adorned in meditation, yet a sturdier emotional state. My bedrock is being nourished.
Personal growth is much like having built the stable trunk of a tree and feeling the nutrients move through it to the leaves – addicted to the sun and often forgetting that the basis is sustaining them also.
We dream and hope – producing energy for small and transient, fleeting day to day achievements – so far away from the roots that have greater plans for us.
So the tree grows in steamroller fashion. Only through realization do we gather how each part of us works in unison.
Each leaf represents life and new beginnings while the branches support. The roots take care and churn to produce a healthy connection. While the tree makes itself a home for other beings the core holds all of this in place.
The air is like a messenger of love and the aura and shade a tree provides is a safe haven.
Gloomy, resilient or magnificent these wonders of nature and symbology can be: lending feel to the world along with release from troubles or comfort in heavier times.
There is an abundant passive kindness in the ones we like to envision and sit under, yet thorn trees still feed the giraffes and antelope that can eat what they bare.
So I find the spirit to be powerful when in the conquering mode – the right drive, given by the roots and trunk produces perseverance through hardship. We have no choice but to triumph over difficulty in the end.
Pushing the end point further and further away is natural, but when balance finally rolls itself into being true grit is proven. Whatever trunk you have been building will either see you weather a storm or let you rebuild and attempt at another time.
Cycles of never giving up get stronger and stronger until you will succeed.
Funny how pinnacles become root work so quickly, for lack of revelling in our accomplishments. We connect this too much with ego – a humble acceptance of all that has been done is what we are after, but we all too often fail at grasping the epidemy of our feats due to forgetfulness.
At least this is what I gather today, which I add to the overall tree as an ever serving entity – so mixed up in my own life and perceptions that I so rarely get to pay tribute.
Yet this feels as though it is my duty – an innate respect I pay on my journey.
