The seemingly conniving act of retreating into self to regain power and peace of mind whenever one can is a trick that I often use when faced with dire circumstances in my life.

It has become a self defence mechanism much like a snail or oyster. Going into my shell to summon some strength before I make my next move is what I am accustomed to, but its not really a weapon is it?

A devious and irritating way of communicating I have found is to seemingly find the holes in arguments until the opposing force simply yields from exhaustion.

This makes for annoying contact with mentally violent people that like to paint with black.

I often feel victimized, offended, misused or insulted when having to deal with such badgering souls that seem to not have calm spirits.

Who do they think they are attacking someone that was on their side at the start of the argument?

We secretly know we’re on the same side, we just have to get there together.

The practise and follow through of this knowing is crucial when it comes to arriving at the end all bones in tact and feathers merely slightly ruffled.

What also helps is self determining your dignity as you go. You cannot be sacrificing morals and key stones simply to reach an end that might just be as devastating as the beginning was.

It has to do with outlook and view. What are your primal goals for conversation on tests? Do you wish to do battle? Do you wish to spread a peaceful feel? Or do you just want to get along for now?

Principles and levels of each version of preferred outcome have a great bearing on your demeanour while exercising your abilities to communicate and govern yourself.

So this means you have to take the utmost care when taking care of yourself in whatever situation your in.

I believe this is why mindfulness is such a great strength! For it prepares you to deal with your own perceptions regardless of how tight or loosely a situation is that you might get into.
