On the far horizon the sun goes down with a red glow, the moon is soon to be seen hanging in a black sky along with the white stars. The grey walkway is skirted with brush that shines maroon. On each side in the distance trees create a black rim that makes it seem gloomy on this journey.
A lonely white tree is the only being that catches the eye alongside this path. It has red blossoms that make it seem like its bleeding. Here and there I find a blossom on the ground.
This entire scenery speaks of a philosophical clean spirit that suffers on the inside for its good deeds it does for the greater good of all. Each of us share the consciousness and contribute to the general health of the overall mind. Quantum physics suggests that we are all examples of the whole in small form, even in nature we find that the overall pattern reflects in smaller form over and over the more one zooms in.
So theoretically all we do matters – even the smallest thing. So our suffering is communal, yet what is yielded from suffering is often elation. At its end one always conquers suffering.
The suffering tree so internally conquers suffering and bleeds out beauty onto the road that is dark, yet lit by the fading sun and the glimmers of hope that are the moon and the stars.
I find that this scenario depicts reality in a melancholic light, with so much truth at its core even though the painting is rather dark.
We usually see ourselves as the white tree, because none of us think that we are bad at our core. We are the product of our choices and what life gives us, so in a sense we are transmuting life as best we can. Always being bright at our core and having to deal with amounts of darkness and light.
Some come into life blessed and others have a difficult life, yet we all make it an even burden to bear.
We get used to conditions, regardless of how bad or good and we find the mean between ease and difficulty so that we all suffer and live off the elation.
In my view life is filled with the mundane that I am used to with my attention falling sometimes on the good and sometimes on the bad. It fluctuates with influences I get through going with the flow of my general mood and by fighting the negative current.
Its like there is an invisible force I call involuntary depression that is present all the time. It lessens sometimes and increases at others, we can but combat it by living on and weighing the storm. Human beings among all mammals are the only ones that need reason to live – else we kill ourselves. So is it too much to claim that we struggle with contentment on a cultural scale?
We have practices in place that teach us to live and let go because we are so used to the abnormal in our rampant times that we cannot adhere to the laws of nature and find understanding that is not somehow unnatural.
We find things to believe in that make us wonder about life beyond this one, neglecting what we do every day to make life good long term.
For now we are a forest of trees that all bleed their colour blossoms all over the paths that cut through it. All of us sharing by making the grey road colourful in the evening.
