This mostly deep, yet complementary and content colour is daunting to me at times. To me it has the knack for overcoming negativity with pure love. So full and proud, nothing can stop it.

Boldly going its way it is knowledgeable of its stance and sure of itself. It knows what part to play when and does not miss a beat.

Should it come it clobber, we know that hearts reign supreme – so mal-confidence has no place here.

When its go-time we know we shall succeed, so let the face-off begin and the one with the most influential plumage will be the victor.

The ladies are impressed and men are wooed as such elegance hits the floor – dazzling in splendour and every step and gesture correct.

I find deep respect anew and the dance in my mind is breath taking. My heart flutters. My pulse rises and its like I am falling in love again, yet differently – somewhat intimidated but flattered I think of times where I would show off a spouse wearing cardinal – maybe with dark jewellery to boast the feeling of being above it all.

Relating to the bird a bit more I see humour in their hairstyle, as if wearing a quirkiness that could be interpreted as full of itself, yet brushing the dirt off with style. Almost mischievous.

There is an air of naughtiness and playfulness that reminds of playing with fire a bit. You would not want to step too close for that tinge might be more than you bargained for or expected.

Not all things that have to do with love as the ultimate weapon are weak in nature. If you challenge cardinal I am sure you will get an earful. The attitude is insurmountable.

Other complementary colours might be purple to get that royalty idea out there or pearl to play on elegance – the only hue I would avoid would be a yellow. It might clash and come off as shrill – the extremes are just too great. Brilliance meets brilliance does not always go smoothly.

Unlike cardinal, which has a lavalike form that is still close to solid enough to scorch you if you tread near. Do not sing its praise too greatly for cardinal is easily embarrassed, yet it brings out its softer side that makes for delightful company every day – I am positive that the vibrance is all too well saved for dance that leave audiences in awe.

May the blood temperatures rise.
